Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Alira Bridal, we want you to find your dream dress with complete confidence. If you need to return or exchange your purchase, please review the conditions below.

 

1. Do You Offer Refunds?

Yes, we offer refunds on eligible products.

Some products are ineligible for refunds.

The following items cannot be refunded:

  • Custom Orders
  • Sale items
  • Items purchased using discount codes
    (These may be exchanged or returned for a credit note only.)

 

2. Can I Exchange My Item?

Yes, absolutely. We offer unlimited exchanges so you can find your perfect dress.

All products are eligible for exchange provided they meet our Return Conditions (listed below).

within 5 working days of receiving your item.

 

3. Who Covers Postage for Returns?

  • Return postage back to us is borne by the buyer.
  • Once we receive your original item and it is approved, we will ship the exchanged item to you at our cost. (maximum one return)
  • We will only incur the cost of postage  to send this exchanged dress to you (a limit is one per order) any additional exchanges are borne by the customer.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable. 

4. What Condition Must Items Be Returned In?

To be accepted, all returns must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Returned in the original state, including all packaging (full packaging for refunds, no box packaging required for exchanges – please ensure the item is carefully enclosed in a waterproof packaging back to us avoiding folding the garment multiple times so it does not damage the garments shape/boning) within 7 days 
  • Product must be untampered with
  • Security ribbon must be fully intact
  • No signs of wear, including:

    • Tanning products
    • Perfume
    • Deodorant
    • Makeup
    • Marks
    • Damage
    • Alterations

 

  • Each return is individually assessed by our team

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Each refunded return attracts a processing fee of $33.00 (Australia) and $70.00 (International orders) 

 

5. Are Manufacturing Faults Covered?

Yes. Any verified manufacturing fault is eligible for repair, replacement, or refund.

If you believe your item has a fault, please contact us within 5 working days of receiving your order.

 

6. Embellished Dresses & Shedding

Minimal shedding is not considered a fault.

Due to the nature of hand-beading, glitter tulles and heavily embellished fabrics, some shedding is expected.

If you have concerns, please contact us within 5 working days of receiving your dress.

 

7. How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Email contact@alirabridal.com.au within 5 working days
  2. Include:

    • Your order number
    • Your full name
    • Reason for return or exchange
    • Product name
    • Images if you believe the item has a fault
  3. Our team will respond with next steps and the return address.

 

8. Processing Time

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 7-14 days.

Exchanges and credit notes will be processed promptly once approved.

 

9. Consumer Guarantees

Our policy does not exclude your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.

 

Shipping Policy

At Alira Bridal, we aim to ensure your order arrives safely, promptly, and beautifully packaged.

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on your location and the product purchased.

 

1. Processing Times

Each product has its own processing timeframe.

If no specific timeframe is listed on the product page, your item is ready to ship within 3-5 working days.

During high-volume periods (new launches, promotions, holidays), slight delays may occur.

 

2. Delivery Timeframes

Domestic – Australia

  • Standard Shipping: 3–5 working days

 

International

  • Standard International Shipping: 7–10 working days
    Delivery times may vary based on customs clearance and your local postal service.

 

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

Any duties, taxes, or customs fees for international orders are not included and must be covered by the buyer.

 

4. Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email.

Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking to activate.

 

5. Urgent Orders

If you require your item urgently, please contact us at contact@alirabridal.com.au before placing your order so we can provide an estimated delivery time.

 

6. Delivery Issues

If your parcel is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please email us.

While courier delays are outside our control, we will assist in lodging an enquiry with the carrier.

 

7. Address Accuracy

We are not responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

Custom Orders Policy

 

Alira Bridal offers limited options to accommodate special sizing or minor adjustments on selected styles.

These are considered Custom Orders and follow specific terms outlined below.

 

1. What Is a Custom Order?

Custom Orders may include:

  • Custom measurements
  • Adjusted lengths
  • Small design or fit modifications
  • Made-to-order garments when specified

If a product states it is eligible for customisation, details will be outlined on the product page.

 

2. Payment & Production

  • Full payment is required before a Custom Order is placed into production.
  • Production time varies by style. Estimated timeframes will be provided prior to payment.
  • Once production has begun, your Custom Order cannot be cancelled or changed.

 

3. Returns & Exchanges

Custom Orders are not eligible for:

  • Refunds
  • Exchanges
  • Credit notes

This is because each piece is created specifically for you.

 

4. Sizing Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate measurements.

We strongly recommend being professionally measured to ensure the best fit.

 

5. Manufacturing Faults

Any verified manufacturing fault will be remedied in line with Australian Consumer Law.

This does not include sizing issues resulting from incorrect measurements.

 

Warranty & Care Policy

Alira Bridal garments are crafted with care, using delicate fabrics, hand-finished details, and premium materials.

This policy helps you care for your dress and understand what is covered under warranty.

 

1. Care Instructions

To protect your garment, please follow these guidelines:

  • Avoid contact with perfume, tanning products, deodorant, and makeup.
  • Store your dress in its garment bag in a cool, dry place.
  • Do not hang heavily embellished or beaded dresses for extended periods (lay flat).
  • Spot-clean only.
  • Dry clean by a specialist experienced with bridal fabrics.

 

2. Expected Characteristics

Some characteristics are normal and not considered faults, including:

  • Minor shedding from glitter tulle or hand-beading
  • Slight variations in lace, texture, or fabric appearance
  • Natural differences that occur with handmade finishes

These traits are part of the beauty and individuality of your garment.

 

3. What Is Covered

We cover:

  • Manufacturing defects discovered upon receiving your item
  • Faults in stitching, closures, or construction
  • Structural issues not caused by wear, storage, or handling

You must notify us within 5 working days of delivery if you believe your garment has a fault.

 

4. What Is Not Covered

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Damage caused by wear, fitting, or trying on
  • Perfume, deodorant, makeup, tanning stains
  • Pulls, tears, or marks caused by handling
  • Alterations done by third parties
  • Damage from improper storage
  • Heavy wear or use beyond an intended bridal garment lifespan

 

5. Remedies

For verified manufacturing faults, we will offer at our discretion:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund (if repair or replacement is not possible)

This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Handcrafted Variations & Colour Disclaimer

 

Due to the hand-made nature of our gowns, slight variations in fabric texture, lace placement, and beading may occur. These subtle differences are a natural part of artisan production and are not considered faults.

Please note that colours may appear lighter or darker depending on lighting and screen display. We recommend reviewing all product videos and images for the most accurate representation of each style.

7. Tarrifs

AU/UK CUSTOMERS:

Custom duties, import taxes and any
applicable tarrifs are now included in the purchase price as of 28 January 2026.

OTHER REGIONS:

Custom duties, import taxes and any
applicable tarrifs are NOT included in the purchase price.
